Most people believe that the diagnosis of bacillary dysentery relatively easy to think that can be diagnosed diarrhea bacillary dysentery, in fact many diseases, there may be diarrhea, diarrhea who are not necessarily infectious diarrhea, but not necessarily bacillary dysentery. In the field of infectious diseases, misdiagnosis is not the highest rate of viral hepatitis and other diseases, but bacillary dysentery. Sometimes dysentery diagnosis for other diseases, other diseases more commonly is misdiagnosed as bacillary dysentery. Diagnosis of bacillary dysentery, you must meet the following conditions.
(1) a history of exposure: patients with bacillary dysentery within 7 days prior history of exposure to contaminated food or pay.
(2) Clinical manifestations: sudden onset, fever, abdominal pain, diarrhea, abdominal pain, lower left main, it plays frequently, tenesmus, to fall, the left lower abdomen with tenderness, stool or mucus for sepsis would be, microscopic examination can be seen more red, white blood cells.
(3) stool culture positive for Shigella.
As with (1), (2), the clinical diagnosis of bacillary dysentery can be, and if confirmed, need to stool culture positive
